A little about me...

I am a 20 year old student, studying psychology at the University of Lethbridge. I have hopes of becoming a clinical psychologist and going to grad school to become that. I enjoy working/playing with children.
I have  a disability (my rant about disabled parking), cerebral palsy, but I do not let that get in my way of setting goals, working at them and achieving them. It can be difficult at times, but whats life without a challenge. I walk with crutches and sometimes where leg braces.
I enjoy sports, I play sledge hockey (we are starting a team in Lethbridge), and I enjoy skiing. I am a four tracker, which means I have four points of contact on the ground (2 skis and 2 outriggers). Outriggers are similar to poles, but they have ski tips on the ends  and I hold them like crutches. I  have skied since I was 3, and enjoy it very much. I have skied for the Para-Alpine Alberta team and have raced in a few nationals. My hero from nationals is Lauren Wolstencroft, she has 3 missing limbs. She skis with prosthetics and jokes that she can break her legs/.knees all the time.
Last summer I tried rowing, and that was fun. I will hopefully continue that this summer.
...I'll add some more about me later!
